Valencia International Airport is located to the west of the City of Valencia (València in the Valencian language), just 8 kilometres from the city, between the towns of Manises and Quart de Poblet, explaining why it is popularly known as Valencia–Manises Airport or just Manises Airport.
The airport primarily serves the Air Nostrum (an Iberia Regional franchise), Vueling and Ryanair airlines, all of which have bases at the airport.
One should also highlight the number of General Aviation private and charter flights, as well as agriculture related airfreight.
The main destinations are the airports of Madrid-Barajas, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona-El Prat and Seville, while the principal international destinations are France (Paris), UK (London), Italy and Holland, among others.
The Airport has a single runway with 12/30 orientation, and comprises two passenger terminals: the Main Terminal building, divided into T1 and T2, where national and international flights operate; and the Regional Aviation Terminal, exclusively for local flights. There is also a General Aviation Terminal and a cargo terminal.
Runway
The airport has one runway 69 feet above sea level: Runway with 12/30 orientation, 3,215 x 45 metres long (8,858 x 148 feet) at an elevation of 16 metres.
Terminals
The airport houses two passenger terminals: the Main Terminal building, divided into T1 and T2, where national and international flights operate; and the Regional Aviation Terminal, exclusively for local flights. There is also a General Aviation Terminal and a cargo terminal.
In 2020, the airport recorded 2,487,496 passages, 35,900 flights and 11,938 tons of cargo.
