Apivillores is an experiential tourism project located in the small municipality of Villores. Our goal is to make the exciting world of bees known to all those who want to live a unique experience with their five senses. With us, you will experience the emotion of seeing yourself surrounded by thousands of bees, knowing the smell of freshly harvested honey, propolis or virgin wax; You will see how bees are born, how they produce honey, how they reproduce and communicate, and you will discover all their secrets. With Apivillores you will live a unique experience discovering the fantastic world of bees and beekeeping in the small town of Villores, in the Els Ports region. From the youngest to the oldest you will enjoy the environment and nature by becoming beekeepers for a day.
The visits last approximately three hours, in which a walking tour is made along a path around Villores to interpret the nature and the honey plants of our environment until we reach the apiary, where we will become beekeepers and beekeepers putting on the protection equipment. We will visit the bees living a unique experience with the five senses, recognizing each type of bee, its work and its fantastic world and, finally, we will return to Villores walking through the ages and the most beautiful corners of the town.
The total walking route is 2.5 km.
Depending on the day, the activity can be completed with a didactic workshop.
It includes:

Itinerary:
10: 00h. Meeting at the Villores polyfunctional Pavilion, at the entrance of the municipality (C / la Font, s / n) and presentation.
10:15 a.m. Interpretive route on foot through the surroundings of Villores until reaching the apiary.
11:15 am. Arrival at the apiary, placing the protective equipment and carrying out the instructions.
11:45 - 12:30. Visit to the apiary.
12:30 pm. Walking back to the municipality.
Requirements:
- People allergic to bee stings cannot participate.
- Route adapted for people with reduced mobility.
- Activity subject to weather conditions.
