Introducing Castellón participates in the Presentation of The Travel Club in Enschede

Introduction

Within the framework of our mission of international positioning of our products and tourist destinations, we want to share with you the report corresponding to the work shop organized by The Travel Club in Enschede, Netherlands, and in which the Product Club has made a specific presentation of our product portfolio.

As has already been indicated in previous activities, The Travel Club is one of the most representative associations in the Netherlands area that brings together the main retail travel agencies in the country and is carrying out intense marketing activity with Spain in general. and with the Valencian Community in particular. Given that Valencia is receiving a growing number of travelers from this country, the Club’s objective is to try to position our destination for the immediate future, to achieve its own demand as an extension of Valencia or even to consider the possibility that some airline may consider the possibility of creating a new connection. In this context, then, the activity that we will now report on is framed.

Evaluations and Conclusions

  • As for the organization of the event, everything was correct and well organized.
  • Perhaps the attendance of more travel agents would have been possible if the presentation had been held in the afternoon, since many were traveling from other areas of the Netherlands. This was also commented on by other presenters, since there were simultaneous presentations in the different rooms of the hotel.
  • The event actually consists of two days; the first day was dedicated exclusively to presentations and, the second day, a workshop with 20-minute interviews throughout almost the entire day, as happened at the May event I attended.
  • I would highlight the interest of travel agents in the destination and in offering a different alternative to the already established Spanish tourist destinations.
  • As the travel agents already had prior knowledge of the destination through other co-marketing actions with The Travel Club, they have been very interested in having information on activities, packages and programs to do in the province of Castellón via Valencia airport.
