The shire of Els Ports is a singular location, the envy of many. A mountain area, with many of its towns and villages 1000 metres above sea level, but just 45 minutes from the coast. Distanced from large cities, in mountainous surroundings, where peace and tranquillity reign, and one can fully enjoy the towns, people and landscape of a unique region.
Time seems to stand still in the shire of Els Ports. A land with history, which preserves its roots and traditions and offers a unique legacy. Over its extensive territory, which shares a heritage with its neighbours Maestrazgo and Matarraña, we will discover numerous small towns and villages, manor houses, hermitages, sanctuaries and official buildings … all testimonies to the passage of time.

Vilanosporum experiences
Discover the Black Truffle (Tuber Melanosporum). It begins with a breakfast with Km 0 products in the Escudella, then we visit a truffle plantation in the mountains where we will enjoy what we call “truffle hunting” doing research on this fungus, and we will get to know the vilafranquino landscape represented in the Mas de Berga farm. At the end of the visit, we will return to the restaurant to know the experience of the truffle on the plate in a tasting menu of this mushroom from the first course to desserts.

Multi-adventure Saltapins
Saltapins is located in the forest area of the Giner Factory Complex. It is a space for leisure and active entertainment, where participants have to jump through its long zip lines, overcome the bridges and aerial tests installed on top of the trees.
You will access the platforms located at the top of the pines through wooden stairs and bridges. Once we get to the platform, the different attractions make us go from one pine tree to another, balancing on the cables, passing the different types of bridges, hanging from lianas or jumping down long zip lines …

Guided tour of medieval morella

We suggest you take a stroll through Morella, where you can step back in time to the Middle Ages, walking through its streets and visiting its most emblematic buildings, such as the Town Hall, the Basilica of Santa María la Mayor, the Castle or its museums.
Dinomania
This activity consists of a guided visit to the Dinosaur Museum, where you can see the original fossils found in the area, followed by a visit to the site, which is 2 km from the town and can be reached by car or on foot; a map is available at the Tourist Office.
Discover Vilafranca
Walking through the streets of Vilafranca is like stepping back in time to the industrial age of the Middle Ages. The old quarter preserves the charm of the past: modernist buildings, houses with coats of arms, a Renaissance church built in record time, a museum of dry stone, a town hall with a Gothic altarpiece, etc.
In short, corners that differentiate the old part from the modern part, as if it were a village and a small city.
