Introducing Castellón participates in the TCV presentation in Munich

Introduction

On May 15, Introducing Castellón participated in the presentation organized by Turismo Comunidad Valenciana in Munich, as part of a promotional action aimed at the professional public of the German tourism sector. The event was held at the emblematic Alter Hof and brought together travel agencies, tour operators, media and opinion leaders.

Meetings and business opportunities

Under a workshop type format, all agents who approached the work table were attended, allowing both the destination and the Club’s establishments to be explained. Among the most important contacts were:

Dertour, interested in learning about the destination and the Club’s establishments.

  • TBS Reisen and M45 Viajes, specializing in customized trips and groups.

  • Brand Tours, whose director won the raffle and will be visiting Castellón soon.

  • IAGTO, golf operator, showed great interest in the courses of Castellón.

  • Media and content creators such as Ganz-Muenchen or Wochen Anzeiger, interested in collaborating.

Institutional events and brand visibility

Castellón was represented by Castellón Airport, the Provincial Tourism Board, HOSBEC and the Introducing Castellón Product Club. The event was also attended by the General Director of Tourism, Israel Martínez, which reinforced the institutional visibility.

Evaluations and Conclusions

  • In terms of organization of the event everything was perfect in a good class environment and of reference in the city (The Alter Hof Munchen) with tasting of michelin star chefs and typical products of the Valencian community.

  • The attendees representing the event were from the main destinations of the Valencian Community but mostly from Alicante and Valencia. From Castellon, the Castellon Airport participated with its director Justo Vellon, the Tourist Board with its manager Virginia Ochoa, and the Product Club, as well as HOSBEC. It also counted with the participation of the General Director of Tourism, Israel Martinez

  • The attendees were attending punctually and showed interest at all times to both the workshop and the presentation of TCV. They were all travel agents and TTOOs interested in the destination Comunidad Valenciana but there were also media and marketing.

  • It would be interesting to carry generic cards with some kind of contact other than just the website (email, phone…

We continue to position Castellón as an attractive and differentiated destination in the international arena.
