Introducing Castellón at the Irish Travel Trade Show

Professional event in Cork and Dublin – April 17 and 18, 2024

During the next 17 and 18 April it has taken place in Cork and Dublin , respectively the Irish Travel Trade Show, organized by the Iris Travel Agents Association of Ireland, being one of the most relevant specialized tourism exchange events in that country.

Castellón’s tourism offer will be present for the second consecutive year at this event through the Introducing Castellón Product Club, which on this occasion will be represented by Sergio Sánchez and by Javier Alonso belonging to RH Hotels and Magic World respectively.

This event is structured through a work shop format that will take place in each of the two cities and is expected to be attended by each of them more than 150 travel agents, as well as specialized press, and where on the part of the specialized offer there are destinations from a good part of Spain and Europe.

It is worth remembering that the province of Castellón does not have a significant demand for tourists from this country, and that is as a result of the launch last year of the flight with Dublin when promotional actions are beginning in that market with a view to consolidating said air operations in the coming years. Although it is no longer operated this year, the consolidated growth of the route with London has made it advisable to insist on this market to maintain Castellón’s presence in the UK market.

With the presence at this specialized event, Introducing Castellón continues to carry out the actions planned in its Marketing Plan for this year 2024, and its mission It is essential to reinforce tourism positioning in those European source markets where there is currently an air connection to the Castellón airport and, in those others, which are considered strategically convenient to achieve substantial increases in tourist demand.
